What we do
Public Progress has helped its clients generate nearly $3 billion through federal grant awards and local revenue generation. These resources have improved the lives of children and youth in cities and counties across the country. Public Progress has also helped elect over 60 policymakers who are committed to protecting and promoting kids and the traditional public institutions that support them.
ELECTIONS.
Successfully working with candidates, cities and counties across the country, Public Progress has made it possible for these campaigns to earn wins averaging 60% of the vote. Services include coalition development, campaign planning, communications, strategic guidance, message maintenance, and personnel management.
Most recently in Missouri, Public Progress engineered the passage of the first successful bond for Kansas City Public Schools in 58 years. The $474 milliondollar bond passed with 85 percent voter approval in April 2025.
Earlier, Public Progress served as the architect for 11 successful Children’s Services Fund campaigns in Missouri. These campaigns proposed local sales or property tax increases to fund children’s mental health and shelter services. These efforts prevailed with an average of 60% voter approval.
